Foam Pigs Bare Foam Pigs
PIGS - Model MB - Medium Density Bare Pipeline Pig
Medium-density bare pigs are engineered from medium density foam, offering unique versatility with a polyurethane elastomer base coating. Primarily utilized for pipeline applications, these pigs excel in drying operations and sweeping loose debris from pipelines. Additionally, they serve as a gauging tool to assess internal pipeline conditions ahead of intensive pigging activities. They can be employed as a sealing pig when another pig becomes immobile, or for batching and product displacement under conditions of low volume and pressure. Customization options include variations like double-dish, double-nose shapes, and the integration of pulling ropes or cables. They may be outfitted with transmitter or pinger cavities, jetting bypass ports, or magnets. The capability to adjust their diameter and length allows for tailored solutions to meet specific pigging requirements.
PIGS - Model HB - Heavy Density Bare Pipeline Pig
Heavy-density bare pigs manufactured from robust foam and coated with a polyurethane elastomer are versatile tools in pipeline maintenance. Key applications include drying, debris sweeping, and even gauging to assess internal pipe conditions before undertaking more extensive pigging operations. They can act as sealing pigs behind obstructed pigs, be utilized for batching, and product removal in scenarios involving low volumes and pressures. The design is adaptable to various requirements, with options such as double-dish or double-nose configurations, pulling ropes or cables, and accommodating transmitters or pingers. Additional features like jetting bypass ports, magnets, and customized sizes enhance their suitability for diverse and specialized pigging applications, making them essential in comprehensive pipeline management.
Foam Pipeline Pigs - Coated Foam Pipeline Pigs
PIGS - Model LC - Light Density Criss Cross Coated Foam Pigs
The LC Light-Density Criss-Cross Foam Pig is a specialized tool designed for light-duty wiping, batching, and product removal applications within pipeline systems. Crafted from light density foam, this pig features a polyurethane elastomer coating arranged in a criss-cross pattern, enhancing its effectiveness and durability. Standard foam density is 1.2 lbs/ft3, with variations available to meet specific operational needs. The pig offers a range of customization options such as double-dish and double-nose designs, pulling rope or cable attachments, and the inclusion of cavities for transmitters or pingers. Additional features like jetting bypass ports, magnets, and tailored diameters and lengths allow it to adapt to unique pigging challenges. This versatility ensures it meets the demands of diverse pipeline conditions, offering reliable performance across various pigging tasks.
PIGS - Model MC - Medium-Density Criss Cross Coated Foam Pigs
Medium-density criss-cross foam pigs are vital tools in the pipeline industry, designed for various maintenance applications. Constructed from medium-density foam, these pigs are wrapped with a polyurethane elastomer in a distinctive criss-cross pattern. They are specifically engineered for regular-duty tasks such as wiping, batching, and product removal within pipelines. These products are versatile, offering various configurations including double-dish or double-nose designs, and are equipped with options like pulling ropes, transmitter cavities, and jetting bypass ports. Magnets can be incorporated for debris collection, and they are available in customized diameters and lengths to suit specific pigging operations. The adaptability of these pigs makes them suitable for diverse operating environments and requirements, ensuring efficient maintenance and operation of pipelines.
Solid Cast Pigs - Process Pigs
PIGS - Model ARG - Process Pigs
The ARG was designed to be primarily used in conjunction with Pigging Valves, however, it can be used in any process pigging application. The cup-and-disc combination make it an excellent sealing pig with a short overall length for use with Pigging Valves.
Solid Cast Pigs - Solid Cast Utility Pigs
PIGS - Model UFCP - Cup Type Solid-Cast Utility Pipeline Pigs
The UFCP solid-cast pig is constructed of high-grade abrasion and chemical resistant solid-cast polyurethane material. It is capable of negotiating tight-radius bends as well as varying internal diameters of nominal pipe. The design of the cups allow the pressure of the line to seat the outer sealing surface of the cup against the internal pipe surface to ensure positive seal. Primarily used for product removal, batching, hydrostatic testing, and paraffin, debris or other buildup removal. Because they are lighter in weight than steel-mandrel pigs, this allows for longer and more efficient runs. Options include cup or cup-and-disc configurations, varying durometers (hardness), transmitter or pinger housing, and magnets.
Steel Mandrel Pigs - Displacement Pig (Disc Type)
PIGS - Model BGD-2 - Bidirectional Displacement Pipeline Pig
BGD-2 Bidirectional Displacement Pigs consist of a carbon-steel body equipped with two (2) easily replaceable polyurethane discs. Models 2″ through 8″ are center-rod type and 10” and up are bolting pattern configuration. They are also capable of being fitted with a gauging plate machined to customer specifications. Options and other configurations include carbon-steel, stainless-steel or aluminum body; discs manufactured from neoprene, viton, epdm, buna-n or other elastomer compounds for special services; aluminum or steel gauging plate of varying thickness (available with slots); transmitter or pinger cavity; magnets for ferrous debris or for magnetic detection; modified configuration to include cups for increased sealing capabilities; customized dimensions for special pigging applications.
Spare Components - Cups
PIGS - Conical Cup
Conical cups offered by Pigs Unlimited International are crafted from robust abrasion and chemical resistant solid-cast polyurethane. These cups are available in various sizes: from 2 inches through 14 inches for center-rod-type pigs featuring a center hole, and from 16 inches to 48 inches with a bolting pattern configuration. The conical design enhances the surface area for wear, allowing for extended operational runs. It also features a reduced bolt circle for improved sealing, increased flexibility, and the capacity to manage up to 15% reductions and deformations in nominal size pipes. Options for these cups include varying hardness levels and bespoke dimensions tailored for specific pigging operations, making them versatile tools in the industry.
Spare Components - Discs
PIGS - Model MD - Guide Discs
Guide discs are constructed of high-grade abrasion and chemical resistant solid-cast polyurethane material. Sizes 2” through 14” are manufactured for center-rod-type pigs with center-hole, and sizes 16” through 48” are manufactured with bolting pattern configuration. Although primarily used with the MD and MDB series of pigs, guide discs can be added to any steel pig for additional support. Options include neoprene, viton, epdm, buna-n or other elastomer compounds for special services; varying durometers (hardness); customized dimensions for special pigging applications.
