The Heated Gas Flow Cell is recommended for high-performance FTIR sampling of flowing gas samples. The beam conforming design of the cell provides for minimum cell volume, maximum throughput, and a 100 mm pathlength. The gas cell may be heated up to 300 °C to prevent condensation of ghier molecular weight gas species.

The short-path gas cells are for analysis of gas samples with component concentrations generally above 1% by weight. The HT gas cells provide more energy at the FTIR detector and include glass stopcocks for flow input and sealing. For occassional gas sampling, the EC version comes with standard septum-styled sealing. Both the HT and the EC versions are available in 50 mm and 100 mm pathlengths, and are slide mounted.
