Save time testing your water ! As a complement to the SpinTouch FX photometer, the freshwater test disks contain the precise amount of reagent needed to perform a full series of tests. To use, simply add 3 ml of test water to a Spin Reagent Disk with a syringe and all vital tests are automatically done, with a result within 2 minutes ! For fresh water, the disks check 7 parameters (alkalinity, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, ammonia, hardness, ph).

The analyses of fresh water or sea water are done automatically in two minutes.

Live zooplankton such as rotifers and Artemia are essential first-feeds for the larvae of many fish (for example, Clownfish). The APBreed Compact Culture System (CCS) is designed to make a benchtop-scale culture of zooplankton easy and reliable. The CCS combines a conveniently-sized 5-gallon bucket with a custom-made fitting that incorporates an aerator and a particulate waste trap. Aeration provides oxygenation and water circulation that draws particulate wastes into the trap (floss).

A refractometer is a precision optical instrument that operates on the principle- as the concentration or density of a solution increases, its refractive index changes proportionately. The refractive angle measured by refractometer registers on the scale. The larger the concentration of solute in the solution, the higher the reading on the scale.
