Planotex - Model PTS - Drum Screen

Drum screen PTS, externally loaded drum screen. Operating principle: The process or waste water is evenly channelled through an inlet chamber on the screen drum surface. The liquid first flows through the drum from outside to inside. The solids deposit on the surface and are removed with a wiper attached to the rotating drum. The filtered liquid then flows again through the drum from inside to outside and drains through a drain nozzle. If necessary, a spray pipe with nozzles located inside the screen drum cleans the screen surface.

Planotex - Model PTSI - Drum Screen

Drum screen PTSI, internal fed drum screen. Operating principal: PTSI is a free-standing rotary drum screen. The waste water is fed to the front face of the drum and flows through the rotating drum from inside to outside. The screen drum is designed on the inside with a spiral that transports the separated solids to the opposite end of the screen drump where the solids are discharged. Since the drum is set up at a 5-degree angle in the conveying direction, the screenings are dewatered during transport.

Planotex - Model PTSC - Drum Screen

Drum screen PTSC, internally loaded drum screen for channels. Operating principle: PTSC is a rotating drum screen with a screw conveyor (with a self-cleaning drainage application) and an optional screenings compression. The waste water flows through the rotating screen drum assembled directly in the channel. The solids separated in the screen drum are transported to the screw screen, which drops the screenings above the channel. In the case of an optional screening compression, the screenings are drained and compressed at the end of the spiral. Depending on the drum screen size and sieve opening, flow rates of up to 2,000 litres per second can be achieved.

Planotex - Model PBS - Curved Screen

Operating principle: The waste water, incoming over a distribution box and distributor plate, flows evenly across to the slot direction along the curved screen surface. The solids are retained on the sieve surface and slide down. The filtered water flows through the slots down in the collection tray and drains off. Depending on the type of contamination and quantity, the curved screen can be optionally equipped with a spraying device to clean the surface and a pneumatically vibrated sieve plate to ensure blockage-free functioning.

Planotex - Model RS - Self-Cleaning Rake Screen

Operating principle: The screen surface, formed of wear-resistant plastic plates and circulating on chains, flows through the channel from the front. An optimal take-out of the sieved solids is provided due to the screen surface’s rake form. These are discarded at the upper deflection point of the screen. An extensive mechanical cleaning, supplemented by an additional rotating brush, occurs due to the meshing of the screen elements at the deflection points.

Planotex - Screw Screen

Operating principle: The screw screen is assembled directly in a waste water channel. The waste water flows through the screen basket that holds back the solids. While the waste water flows through the screen, the shaftless spiral conveys the solids upwards for dumping. During the conveying process, the inside of the screen will be continuously cleaned by special brushes attached onto the outer diameter of the spiral. If the screw is equipped with a drainage and compacting device, the screenings are drained and, depending on the material properties, educed by more than 35% of its own original volume.

Planotex - Model PSC / PSCC - Screw Screen

Operating principle: The operating principle is described under ‘Screw Screen’.

Planotex - Model SSC - Shaftless Screw Conveyor

Operating principle: The shaftless screw pitch (feed screw) offers a larger volume capacity and the opportunity to promote particularly difficult media, such as those that tend to wind the screw pitch or those with widely varying particle size. The material quality, the special material thickness and the special production technology make the feed screw extremely resistant. Obstacle-free product promotion is guaranteed since there is no interim storage. The completely closed trough prevents any product escape. Trough covers with appropriate flat gaskets provide for an odourless operation and constitute a barrier against infiltration from the outside. At the same time, the spiral conveyor provides convenient access to all internal components during inspection or cleaning. Maintenance is kept to a minimum thanks to the small number of components. A wide range of different trough linings are available, adapted to the respective conditions of use.

Planotex - Model VWP - Screenings Press

Operating principle: The screened material is dropped into the throw funnel with subsequent compaction unit. The dewatered and compacted screenings are discharged with a special discharge pipe.

Planotex - Model TSF 2/3 - Compact Pre-Treatment System

Operating principle: During the process, solids, sand/settling settlement and floating substances that are in the dirty water are removed to avoid overloading of the subsequent treatment stage. The waste water entering the compact system is first pretreated by a screen screw. Thereafter, the sedimentation process takes place in the sand/settling sediment separated from the waste water. The TSF 3 version also has an additional grease trap with floating grease reamer using a fine bubble aeration of the sand trap for the separation and removal of fats and floating matter.
