Blue Yonder's freight emissions measurement platform is designed to provide industry-standard carbon emissions calculations across various transportation modes. Accredited by the Smart Freight Centre in conformity with the GLEC Framework, the platform ensures accuracy and reliability in emissions measurement. It factors in elements such as fuel consumption, transport mode, and specific activity data, offering a transparent methodology through its feature, Clarity™, which dissects the computation steps and assumptions made. The platform encompasses global coverage for road, rail, air, sea, and inland waterways, leveraging methodologies like Clean Cargo Working Group for sea, ICAO for air, GHG Protocol for road and rail, and more. Routing is optimized using an advanced GIS system, incorporating data from Google, Amazon, and various open data sources. This platform facilitates strategic planning for emission reduction and provides a marketplace for carbon offsets, promoting sustainable logistics operations.
