Pollution Control Systems, Inc. (PCS) products
PCS - Wastewater Treatment Package Plants
Pollution Control Systems is recognized worldwide for its products and technologies to treat wastewater to a safe sanitary water effluent quality discharge meeting and/or exceeding effluent standards recommended by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
PCS - Tertiary Filters for Advanced Sewage / Wastewater Treatment
Environmental standards for discharge water, especially from wastewater treatment facilities or systems, are being subject to more stringent effluent requirements. Among the requirements is the need to keep systems and facilities up to date with current environmental regulations. These regulations, in many cases, require the addition of Tertiary Treatment to a new or existing Secondary. Wastewater Treatment System (extended aeration process) for further reduction of BOD and TSS as required by Federal and Local Authorities.
PCS - Lift Station/Pump Station Package Systems
Sewage lift/pump stations are used for pumping wastewater or sewage from a lower to higher elevation, particularly where the elevation of the source is not sufficient for gravity flow and/or when the use of gravity conveyance will result in excessive excavation and higher construction costs.
PCS - Oil Water Separators for Wastewater Treatment
National and International regulatory agency guidelines are increasingly stringent when dealing with oil discharge limits and are driving the need for efficient, cost effective, oil/water separation technologies. The OCS Series coalescence oil/water separators have been designed to meet the need dealing specifically with free and dispersed non-emulsified oil. Free and dispersed oil requires gravity coalescing to separate and the PCS OCS separator is designed for this application. These units accelerate the process of which oil and water do naturally – separate. It is done with no moving parts and is based on principles as consistent as gravity and buoyancy.

PCS - Oil Coalescing Separator
Pollution Control Systems, Inc. (PCS) is pleased to provide the following equipment specifications for your consideration.
One (1) prefabricated carbon steel Oil Coalescing Separator (OCS) constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications stated herein. The OCS removes free and dispersed non-emulsified oil from the influent wastewater and produces an effluent containing no more than 20 ppm of oil droplets with 0.85 specific gravity and 20 microns in size or larger. The unit shall handle a maximum flow rate of gallons per minute, with less than 200 mg/l of suspended solids, a min/max temperature of 40/140 degrees F., 0.85 specific gravity oil, and 7.5-8.5 pH. The oil separation process shall utilize coalescing media packs fabricated from an oleophilic, cross-corrugated synthetic material that will enhance oil droplet deposition on the media surfaces.
Wastewater Clarifiers
PCS - Parallel Plate Clarifiers for Wastewater Treatment
The Parallel Plate Clarifier is an inclined pate, shallow depth sedimentation device. In comparison, the Parallel Plate Clarifier has a number of advantages which overcome the limitations of other products designed for the same performance applications, advantages which yield savings in space requirements, capital, and operating costs. In addition, the technology is key to enhanced solids removals in the liquid/solid gravity separation systems.
PCS - Circular Mechanical Clarifiers for Wastewater Treatment
Clarification is the oldest and most widely used operation in the effective treatment of wastewater. The operation consists of removing sediment, turbidity and floating material from raw wastewater.
