Screw Clamp For Conveyor Belts Reparation

Aim of this clamp is to cause required pressure on warming plates during partial reparation of conveyor belt. Presented construction is a completely new proposition concerning all technological requirements during the process of reparation of damaged conveyor belts. Construction is based on steelworks products meeting special durability requirements, that become the ace of this product, repeatedly confirmed by research.

Vulcanization Press

Aim of such appliances is to connect together two ends of belts using method of hot vulcanization, often at 1450C temperature. Appropriate vulcanization temperature is obtained through aluminum warming plates, and appropriate pressure on vulcanized connection is realized by elastic hydraulic system. This system as self-existing construction element is being attached below upper girder, and the pressure on warming plates is assured by screws installed with use of amplifier. The construction of beam and hydraulic system provide connecting simplicity and integration of them into one appliance, if it is comfortable for service. Value of pressure is being controlled by measurements of manometer installed in every system, and formerly set value of pressure is information about achieving optimal pressure on the connection.

Rotor-Current Starter

Starter is designed for initialization and alignment of load in multi-drive systems of 3-phase slip-ring motors working on any current and power. Innovativeness of such solution consists in introducing onto rotor-current segment a winding with high resistance allowing adjusting the starting moment in full scope. Starter advantages: optimalization of initialization through selection of the moment responding to requirements of working machine and safe scope of starting current, minimalization of starting time, minimalization of electric energy consumption during initialization, low investment cost relating to traditional starters, unmanned work and very low mortality, simple construction.

Magnetic Separator

Highly inductive magnetic separator was designed for splitting within magnetic field the sets of mineral granules into subsets with diversified magnetic susceptibility. The construction of separator allows selective separations from highly and lowly magnetic materials. The separator has practical application in ore enrichment processes, deironing abrasive materials, feldspar quartz sands and recycling of rare metal compounds from ore and waste.

Conveyor Belts Scraper

Scraper (segment type) was designer for clearing conveyor belts on conveyor drum and under the belt. It consists of elastic systems with scrapers attached to them. Scrapers are also attached to firm construction element - pipe form - which is supported by supporting system screwed directly to the basis of conveyor. Structural solution of scraper with 2 elastic joints allows swing of scraping part around its axle and also in vertical plane, allowing firm clamp of cleaning system to the belt. In working setting a 10 mm lift of clamping system through screwing mechanism, causes scraper clamp to the belt with permanent force of 80 - 100 N assuring effective belt cleaning and simultaneously a possibility of evasive reactions to damaged parts of the belt.

Metal detector

Detector type WMS-3M was designed for detecting ferromagnetic subjects within non-ferromagnetic carried material on conveyor belts without steel cords and other ferromagnetic parts. Such devices are in use in coal and lignite supplying systems of power plants, chemical facilities, shipyards, mineral resources mines and on surface of coal mines. For simpler indication of detected metal location, the detector might be equipped with digital metal detection indicator WPM placed on the box`s door or separately for individual installation and/or mechanical indicator ZPM. All currently manufactured detecting devices have possibility of manual (button) or automatic (preprogrammed time delay 1 - 15 s) cancellation of metal detection. Detector type WMS-4B may be applied also onto conveyors with belts with steel cords, wherever sensors installation in siftings hopper is possible. Detectors type WMS-3S4 are being used in 7 objects in lignite mine LAUBAG (Germany), where they work on conveyors with belt width 3000 mm and height of carried material up to ca. 1000 mm.
