Carbon Fiber Fabric
Carbon Fibre is a strong material that is also very lightweight. Carbon is five times stronger than steel and twice as stiff. With Carbon Fibre being stronger, stiffer and lighter than steel, it makes the ideal manufacturing material for many parts.
Aramid Fabric
In a world where lightweight and durable composites are increasingly replacing traditional materials, Aramid plays an important role. The characteristics include super-high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance and resistance to acid and alkali, with strength 5 to 6 times of steel wire, modulus 2 to 3 times of steel wire and toughness 2 times of steel wire, while the weight only one fifth of steel wire.
UHMWPE Fabrics
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene has density of 0.97g/m³, the lightest among reinforcement fibers, 2/3 of aramid fiber and half of carbon fiber. It is also the strongest among high performance fibers. Therefore, fabric made with UHMWPE fiber is not only light but also has excellent tensile strength and tear strength.
Glass Fabric
Fiberglass is a lightweight, versatile, and cost-effective material used in an endless variety of industrial and commercial products. Since it is made from glass, it is naturally resistant to heat, fire, water, chemicals, pests, and bacteria. It is lighter and more flexible than other types of mesh products such as steel, but still retains high tensile strength, which means it can hold up under pressure without breaking. In fabric form, fiberglass has the added benefit of conforming to odd-shaped angles and curves, such as those found on a surfboard or a snowmobile. In these applications, the fiberglass fabric provides a framework to which a liquid resin is bonded, providing strength, form and durability to the end product.
