This one coat application will add an additional 10-15 years to your pond. PondPro comes standard in white or black. PondPro 2000`s success is in its formulation which is based on a highly flexible Butyl/Polyether chemistry that achieves high elongation and adhesion in total water immersion environments. It is also solvent based. So, what does that mean? Pond Pro 2000 has a unique drying process based on a catalyst that is already incorporated in the product. During the curing process the catalyst will force to the surface what would otherwise be trapped air; achieving what is called a chemical cross link that allows Pond Pro to chemically bond to the surface it is applied on. Pond Pro is 100% compatible with any existing EPDM pond liner as well as the other surfaces outlined below. Safe for both fish and plant life as well as frogs, turtles, tadpoles etc.

For many of us who have experience a pond leak with our pond liners we know all too well the enormous task it is to remove an existing epdm pond liner once a leak occurs. For many of us that required of course the water and a safe temporary place for our fish but also involves removing all the surrounding plants, slate, decorations etc. Once the liner is removed we will need to level off and reinforce the earth again behind the liner to insure that during the course of the months the liner does not "settle" and thus begin go lean causing water to escape. The whole process is very time consuming.

PondPro is the industry`s one coat solution to concrete pond leaks. Unlike other systems on the market it does not require a primer or a 2nd coat. PondPro2000 is not to be confused with a paint or other thin pond coatings on the market. PondPro is applied up to 10 times thicker than other products! Some products are coated at a 3 or 4 mil whereas PondPro Concrete is applied at a 30 mil about the depth of 12 pieces of paper. The distinct advantage of the product is in its unique chemical cure. The PondPro will chemically fuse itself to the substrate and any trapped air will be forced to the surface, leaving your pond with an airtight seal. Coverage is 40 sq ft per gallon.
