The Ultravap® Gemini is a solvent evaporator designed for laboratories where there is a need to evaporate samples in multiple plates or vial/tube holders simultaneously. Alternatively different needle heads can be set in each manifold, allowing different formats of samples to be processed at the same time. With its dual plate capability, it can double your sample throughput compared to the Ultravap® Mini. This solvent evaporator has been designed to be simple to operate and maintain. It offers individual gas and temperature settings for each of the sample holders, providing precise control over the evaporation process on both sides.

The Ultravap® Levante, an ideal starter evaporator for efficient concentration of samples, is one of the latest state of-the-art evaporators from Porvair Sciences. It offers greater control and flexibility for sample preparation workflows. This standalone instrument is designed to consistently and reproducibly evaporate solvents from samples. Precisely engineered to ANSI/SLAS standards, the Ultravap® Levante is designed to securely fit all microplate formats and tube/vials racks up to 45 mm in height. The Ultravap® Levante can be operated from a gas cylinder or in-house supply of nitrogen or clean dry air.

The Ultraseal™ COLD-PRO is a high-throughput automated adhesive microplate and tube rack sealer. The unit uses a roll of surface-modified aluminium or plastic film approx. 80 mm wide and 200 m long. The the film is pulled through the sealer and cut to between 124 mm and 130 mm in length before being applied to the plate top surface to create the seal.

The Ultraseal™ XT-PRO is an automated heat-applied microplate and tube rack sealer. The unit uses a roll of surface modified aluminium or plastic film approx. 78mm wide and 610m long. Using a total inline method, the film is pulled through the sealer, cut to between 125mm and 130mm in length and then applied to the plate top surface to create the seal. Offering complete versatility, the sealer works with a wide range of plates, tube racks and custom applications, shallow and deep well formats, and custom mouldings. Our latest range of compatible seals support polystyrene, polypropylene and COC & COP plate formats in a range of film substrates.

Vacuum manifolds are used to draw liquid through a filter or SPE plate into a receiver waste or collection plate. The vacuum increases the speed of sample processing. The Microlute™ vacuum manifold is precision machined from clear acrylic allowing visibility into the plenum chamber and monitoring of the extraction progress.

Vacuum manifolds speed up the processing of SPE and filtration steps by drawing liquid through the plate into a waste or collection plate below. The Microlute™ robotic vacuum manifold is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled by laboratory automation robots. It is compatible with most ANSI/SBS plates without the need for accessories. Medium and short skirt plate are equally compatible with the use of simple adaptors. 228021   Adaptor 1 for medium skirt plates e.g. Qiagen, Waters µElution plates. 228022   Adaptor 2 for use with short skirt plates such as Axygen.

The Ultraseal™ CAP-LITE is the manual version of the semi-automated Ultraseal™ CAP-PRO and is the ideal, economical solution for low-medium throughput laboratories. Pulling down on the sturdy handle quickly and strongly applies friction sealing mats or septum sealing caps to SBS format tube racks and microplates. Place your rack or plate with its associated friction mat or septum cap in the drawer, push it firmly shut and pull down the hand pull to seal.

The Ultraseal™ CAP-PRO is a semi-automated cap and mat applicator designed to take the strain out of applying friction sealing mats or septum sealing caps to SBS-format tube racks. Simply place your rack or microplate with your friction mat or septum cap of choice in the drawer and push it firmly shut. Initiate sealing with the large, glove-friendly start button, step back, and leave the sealer to apply the mat with consistent, even pressure to ensure each tube or well is tightly sealed. Time after time, the Ultraseal™ CAP-PRO does the hard work for you. It’s more reproducible, quicker, and less likely to cause a strain injury than trying to do this manually. The compact unit requires only a 110v or 220v power supply to operate and is small enough to sit on most lab benches.

eGecko2 barcode applicator utilises a robust and proven custom designed label printer. The system is a completely integrated printer and application unit in one, requiring only an electrical supply. With easy swap head operation you can apply labels to flat and curved surfaces with one simple change. Utilising proprietary software, this enables the creation of label position and the ability to run the eGecko2 automation simultaneously. Integrated third party software, Bartender, is used to direct drive data to the printer. Alternative data can be used upon request. Using fully integrated PC.
