Powerhouse can provide turnkey servicing of your industrial steam turbines, either on-site or in our shop. As a standard, we include walk-down, parts inventory assessment, mobilization, disassembly, diaphragm inspection & NDE, rotor inspection, NDE and dynamic balance check, installation of new common wear items (provided by the customer or by us), reassembly to factory specifications and start-up.

Powerhouse employs a group of field machinists that can help you with even the most complex field machining project. Whether using our portable mill to level a pump base or line-boring a multi-stage pump, we are an experienced group of machinists who own our equipment and can mobilize quickly, often same-day, to help you with your on-site machining needs.

Powerhouse has over 15 years of experience with most any type of steam turbine valves. Whether you need work on a Trip & Throttle Valve, Main Stop Valve, Control/Throttle Valve or Combined Intercept Valve, we have the expertise to support your outage on quick-turn basis or help get your spare valves refurbished and ready for the next outage.

Our fabrication services include building machined weldments, assemblies and even pipe fabrication. We utilize experienced, certified welders who are competent in working with most all materials including steel, stainless steels (300 and 400 series), inconel, hastelloy, aluminum, and even stellite overlay.  We are often successful in our cast iron repairs, as well.

Powerhouse employs a number of experienced millwrights who specialize in all types of rotating equipment repair, both in the shop and in the field. While steam turbines are our specialty, we also repair all styles of pumps, blowers, gearboxes, etc. From a tiny gear pump to the largest vertical turbine pump, we’ve got you covered. If your equipment has some age, we can often reproduce obsolete parts in our machine shop.
