Process Development & Control LLC (PDC) products

PDCS electric actuators are designed for quarter-turn operating applications requiring a fail position upon loss of power supply. They utilize a compact mechanical spring set to fail the valve or damper clockwise (CLOSE) or counter-clockwise (OPEN).

The PDC "Econotrol" series butterfly valve is available in sizes from 2" thru 14" in a combination of materials and optional features suitable for most mid-range differential pressures and service conditions.

The PDC “Medium Duty” series butterfly valve is available in sizes from 2″ thru 24″ in a combination of materials and optional features suitable for most mid-range differential pressures and service conditions.

The PDC “Excel” series butterfly valve is available in sizes from 2″ thru 60″ in a combination of materials and optional features suitable for most mid-range differential pressures and a wide range of temperature conditions.

The PDC “Flanged” series butterfly valve is available in sizes from 4″ thru 14″ in a combination of materials and optional features suitable for most mid-range differential pressures and service conditions.

The PDC “Reduced Port” series butterfly valve is available in sizes from 3″ thru 14″ in a combination of materials and optional features suitable for most mid-range differential pressures and service conditions.

Our AWWA C504 butterfly valves have a long service life due to the medium not coming into contact with the bearing, and due to the wear resistant, corrosion and infiltration proof, seat with weld overlay. Suitable for water distribution, water treatment, pretreated wastewater, dams, power plants, industry, and pressure management.

Process Development & Control’s ElastoTITE™ Full Port Elastomer Hinged Check Valves have low pressure loss, lightweight design and a compact construction. Our Patented Flexible Anti-Fatigue Reinforcement Layer design increases the life of the valve and reduces the need for replacement of the elastomer sealing member during routine maintenance. The elastomer hinge check valve design eliminates a restrictive valve seat and increases the valve’s open area and flow coefficient significantly. Air from Port A forces the pistons outward, causing the springs to compress and the pinion to turn counter-clockwise while the spring chamber air exhausts through Port B. Upon the loss of air pressure, the springs de-com- press forcing the pistons inwards, causing the pinion to turn clockwise while the air exhausts through Port A.
