Secure Web Access with LIS Laboratory Outreach for the Results of Patients. This LIS System Web application is designed for the laboratory clients (physicians) to access the laboratory system for the results of their patients and to submit lab orders from within their offices.

Prolis Bridge is the laboratory`s Automation Engine and a component of our LIS System. The component runs on the laboratory`s servers, 24x7 in preset iterations. In each iteration, this LIS Software automation engine executes all of the hosted and pre-configured Interfaces (Prolis PDF Interfaces and HL7 Interfaces) delivering patient results to respective physicians, receiving results from all interfaced Reference Lab, delivering laboratory orders (Send Outs) to Reference Labs and processing laboratory orders received from interfaced physicians.

Prolis LIS Software PDF Interface is laboratory automation tool to convert laboratory report to PDF, servicing physicians with or without EMR. As soon the patient report becomes ready, Prolis LIS PDF Interface converts it to PDF thus making it ready to be picked up by Prolis FTP Client running at the remote location (physician office).

HL7 Interface, a Prolis Laboratory Information System component DLL comprising of data consuming functionality and data generating functionality, integrated with the laboratory automation engin, Prolis Bridge. HL7 Interfaces are used to communicate bidirectionally with EMRs and other Lab softwares at the reference laboratories. This universal lab interface accommodates various emr interfaces because of its modular approach. In the context of the communication with an EMR, Prolis LIS data generating capability functions to format test results of patient test orders in to HL7 Messages and the Prolis data consuming capability functions to consume test orders in the form of HL7 Message, submitted by the laboratory client`s EMR Interfaces.

Prolis FTP Client is an automated LIS System component installed usually at the physician office computer. The FTP client is available as Windows Application with a user interface and as a console application without the user interface.

Prolis lab system being Uni-structural posesses the capability to be configured in various testing environments. Unlike all other Laboratory Information Systems employing a separate module for clinical, microbiology and pathology, Prolis uses its single test structure to handle; qualitative tests, quantitative tests, multiple choiced tests, multisequencing tests, template based tests, image resulted tests. The uni-structural approach of Prolis Lab Software eliminates the need of multiple modules for different testing types.

Prolis employs Laboratory Equipment Interfaces written to the specifications of the respective equipment. With few exceptions, all of interfaces are based on ASTM standards of E-1381, low level protocol and E-1394, a high level protocol. True random access lab analyzers like general chemistry (Olympus, LX-20 and similar) and special chemistry (Axsym, Immulute and similar) usually support bidirectional interfaces where analyzer reads the tube barcode inquire LIS System for the test orders and receive them, analyses the sample and report back the results to the Lab Information System.

Prolis Lab Software application includes a comprehensive user friendly laboratory billing module that functions under the CMS guidelines. The module incorporates a specific routine that mkes the candidate tests/services to be billed ready, with options to consider the results, QNS, Lab Accidents, tests not performed (supressed) or even skipped.

Prolis Lab Software, by using one of its numerous configurations, is designed to operate a toxicology lab completely from accessioning, resulting, reporting and billing. Prolis offers the capability to handle the specific resulting requirements of both drug tests as well as vality  tests, by all manual and automatic (both numeric and alpha) input but yielding correctly configured interpretation.
