The PA(O) family of electric spring return actuators are designed for load requirements of 445 inch pounds. The actuator comes standard with two auxiliary switches (form C), an internal low power heater, a NEMA 4X environmental rating, and in 120VAC, 230VAC, or 24VAC/DC (on/off only) supply voltages. The PA(O) Series mechanical connections utilize an ISO 5211 mounting system, Size F07 with an 8 point 17 mm female drive. The PA(O) Series is offered in two control modes: on/off (2 position control), or Proportional (modulating) control. Application requirements will dictate whether to utilize a CW (clockwise spring return) or CCW (counter-clockwise spring return) model.
Spring return direction is NOT changeable and actuator must be configured for spring return direction at time of order.

The P1 series quarter turn actuators are used on OEM applications such as filter and pump skids as well as process control, water treatment, and heating & cooling.

The PZ6 and PZ15 are compact electric actuators designed for load requirements up to 55”lbs and 135”lbs respectively. They are compact actuator designed for small space areas. The PZ series has a NEMA 4/4x environmental rating, comes standard with an ISO5211 F03/F05 mounting pattern and a 14mm double-square female drive shaft — making either one an ideal actuator for small valve and damper applications. Available in 24vac, 120vac and 230vac supply voltages, the PZ6 and PZ15 are available ONLY as on/off (two position) models that can also be used in bump/jog applications. Auxiliary switches, heaters, and proportional control cards are not available in this series.

Designed and engineered for precision operation of linear process control valves. Up to 4400 lbs (19.57 kN) of force 2 inches (50mm) travel. Field Selectable Stops – Travel stops can be set by location with a mechanical switch or by a rated force switch, either on the down or up stroke. For example, the down stroke can be set with full force for consistent seating regardless of wear with the up stroke set by a mechanical switch to protect the stem plug connection. Proportional Control – Precision proportional control is achieved through a microcontroller based printed circuit board featuring 4-20mA, 1-5VDC, 0-10VDC or 2-10 VDC input and feedback as well as AutoCalibration or manual end of travel set point and alphanumeric diagnostic indicators. Manual Override – All ProMation Engineering linear actuators come with a standard manual override that allows fast and simple manual positioning.

The ProMation Engineering explosion proof actuators are designed for use in hazardous locations. They meet the latest Class I and Class II Division 1 standards per UL 1203. The explosion proof actuators share the same electronic and mechanical components as the ProMation Standard Location products and give you the same reliability and performance that you’ve come to expect from our Standard Location quarter turn actuators.

The PB(O) family of electric spring return actuators are designed for load requirements of 1150 inch pounds. The actuator comes standard with two auxiliary switches (form C), an internal low power heater, a NEMA 4X environmental rating, and in 120VAC, 230VAC, or 24VAC/DC (on/off only) supply voltages. The PB(O) Series mechanical connections utilize an ISO 5211 mounting system, Size F10 with an 8 point 22 mm female drive. The PB(O) Series is offered in two control modes: on/off (2 position control), or Proportional (modulating) control.

The U-Series actuators are ProMation’s most advanced actuator providing 6000 starts per hour at 100% Continuous Duty Cycle. Standard controls include 2 wire/single wire On/Off, analogue modulation (4-20mA, 2-10VDC, and 1-5VDC) and MODBUS RTU/TCP.  The explosion-proof U-Series is certified for Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D hazardous locations, which includes hydrogen, LNG, methane, and gasoline. The U-Series has an optional supercapacitor power back up to drive to a failsafe position upon loss of line voltage.
