Promeco has engineered a system for the production of RDF (refuse derived fuel) from ASR automotive shredder residues.Vehicles at the end of their life are, after remediation (removal of fluids, oils, fuels, batteries), demolished. About 75% of the material components of the vehicle is recovered. In particular, the destruction and demolition/crushing of vehicles allows to recover the metal components.

The densifier PROMECO (Promeco Extruder System) is the simple, easier and efficiency solution for plastic densify and agglomeration. The flexibility of the system can process different plastics as: Mix plastics as scraps, industrial & commercial and waste plastics. Plastics (PE, HDPE, EPS, PP, PVC as foil shredded, powder or similar).

Promeco two shafts shredder Premier is the biggest primary shredder manufactured  by Promeco and is suitable for all kind of waste and bulky waste. The main hopper allow the feeding of voluminous waste and the two independent shafts with peculiar disk make the machine suitable to shredding down to.

PRS  shredder has been designed  for a clean cut to every kind of waste. The cutting discs are designed according to the material to be processed and the kind of shredding, thus defining the thickness and the disc diameter over the geometry of the hooks. Equipped with rotor’s cleaning knives.

Promeco bag opener PBO is designed to cut the bags without shredding the content. The two rotors are independent with specially designed knives  which are ideal to use the machine at the beginning of sorting plants.

KR shredders have over 20 years of proven experience and mean realiability, efficiency and solidity. Our shredders are designed to meet the client’s needs or can be chosen among the different models available. Promeco offers machines with rotors’ lenght from 1000 mm to 2800 mm, and with diameter from 440 mm to 730 mm and motors from 45kW to 250kW. Motors can be hydraulic or mechanical.

KRF shredders are the evolution of KR in terms of speed of operation.
