CXC Chemokines

Protein Foundry - Model CXCL12 - PFP001 - Recombinant Human Protein Cell

CXCL12 is a ligand for the G protein coupled receptor CXCR4 and induces chemotactic migration in a wide range of CXCR4-expressing cells. CXCL12 protein is expressed in E. coli, refolded and cleaved to yield the native, secreted form of the mature chemokine.

Protein-Foundry - Model CXCL1 -PFP029 - Recombinant Human Protein Cell

Description: Human CXCL1 is a 73 amino acid, ELR+ chemokine that belongs to the GRO isoform subset which activate the G protein-coupled receptor CXCR2. TNF-stimulated epithelial cells strongly express CXCL1 in addition to the constitutive expression by macrophages. CXCL1 is a potent chemoattractant for neutrophils and an activator of basophils.

CC Chemokines

Protein Foundry - Model CCL17 - PFP007 - Recombinant Human Protein Cell

CCL17, also known as TARC, is constitutively expressed in the thymus and can be upregulated in peripheral blood mononuclear cells. CCL17 is a ligand for the G protein coupled receptors CCR4 and CCR8, and induces chemotactic migration for T lymphocytes, but not monocytes or granulocytes.

Protein-Foundry - Model CCL2 - PFP008 - Recombinant Human Protein Cell

Human CCL2, also designated Monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1), Monocyte chemotactic and activating factor (MCAF) and JE, chemoattracts mononuclear cells through activation of the G protein-coupled receptor CCR2. The N-terminal glutamine of CCL2 undergoes post-translational modification to pyroglutamic acid. Macrophages and monocytes are the primary producers of CCL2.

Protein Foundry - Model XCL1- PFP005 - Recombinant Human Lymphotactin Protein Cell

This construct contains the WT sequence for XCL1. A disulfide bond forms between C11 and C48.  It has previously been shown that WT Lymphotactin (XCL1) is able to interconvert between two distinct conformations under physiological conditions. In one conformation, Lymphotactin exists as a monomer and is able to bind to its receptor, XCR1. In the other conformation, XCL1 exists as a dimer and loses its affinity for XCR1.

Protein-Foundry - Model CX3CL1 - PFP027 - Recombinant Human Protein Cell

Human CX3CL1 is a membrane protein consisting of a mucin-like stalk attached to a transmembrane domain containing a C-terminal tail. CX3CL1 is the ligand to the G protein-coupled receptor CX3CR1. CX3CL1 and its receptor have been shown to be a involved in the cellular processes leading to atherosclerosis, where a deletion of the gene specific to the CX3CR1 receptor in transgenic mouse models lead to a decrease in the disease.

Protein Foundry - Model 2 - PFP066 - Recombinant Human Beta Defensin Protein Cell

Recombinant human beta defensin 2 or HBD2 exhibits antimicrobial activity against gram-negative bacteria and gram-positive bacteria. This cytokine may act as a ligand for C-C chemokine receptor CCR6. It binds to both human and mouse CCR6 and induces chemotactic activity of CCR6-expressing cells.
