PSE - UV Chamber for Preconditioning Test
In PV modules, many different components are exposed to the sunlight. Therefore, the IEC 61215 defines a UV preconditioning test (MQT 10) to test whether these components can withstand the UV radiation of the sun.
Batteries
PSE - Drop Tester
Our drop tester is designed to perform drop tests on batteries or other components. The drop tester comprises a rigid frame for lifting the test object to the drop height, which can be adjusted electrically. A signal lamp at the control board indicates that the drop height has been reached.
Heat Pumps and Chillers
PSE - Tap Water Simulation Test Unit
This device can be used to test units for tap water heating. Therefore draw-off profiles for tap water consumption can be simulated. The module consists of storage tank with an integrated heat exchanger for setting a defined water temperature. To simulate the tap water consumption a frequency controlled screw pump is used. Several valves enable the user to flush the pipes between the unit and the test object, to minimize the influence of pipes with no defined water temperature.
