Puragen - Column/Batch Testing On and Off Site Services
Customers who have decided that activated carbon will be the most effective way to treat their stream and need to get further data to size their activated carbon filtration system require on-site or off-site column/batch testing. It is also beneficial in determining which base activated carbon will be the most effective.
Puragen - Custom and Standard Impregnations Services
We provide standard impregnations such as silver for bacterial effects, caustic for H2S adsorption, as well as other impregnations that increase the effectiveness of ammonia, mercury, etc. In addition, we work with our customers in creating a custom impregnation specifically designed for their application.
Puragen - Custom Grinding and Screening Services
Our coconut shell plant has been focused on providing customized options for our customers and has spent over one million dollars in the most advanced equipment to grind and screen activated carbon to any size particle.
Puragen - Isotherm Prediction Models
In order to determine activated carbon`s effectiveness on certain constituents, Puragen calculates how much carbon will be needed based upon our customer`s site criteria. Although this is a theoretical model, it is the based upon a data base of hundreds of isotherms on various compounds and allows our customers to determine if carbon would be an effective treatment alternative.
