Pyradia has been manufacturing web converting machinery since 1973.  We acquired our expertise through years of experience. We offer both complete web converting lines as well as individual web converting components. All our converting machines come tailored to your application. We answer the most challenging process requirements to optimize your production.  We have experience with both production lines and pilot lines, as well as with the various coating techniques. Whether your process uses Knife-Over-Roll (KOR) coating, Direct Gravure coating, Offset Gravure coating, Saturation coating, Mayer Rod coating, or Slot Die coating, Pyradia delivers customized machinery to optimize your production.

Knife-Over-Roll (KOR) coaters are typically used for applying relatively thick and more viscous coatings. The coatings can be applied to various types of substrates, such as textiles and nonwovens. Pyradia manufacturers custom knife-over-roll (KOR) coaters at an off-the-shelf price. Manufacturing coaters that are tailored to your specific needs, ensures that your coater will deliver optimal production results. All our KOR coaters are designed according to the highest quality standards; they are durable, long-lasting and easy to maintain. Our open-frame design makes our web coaters easy to thread, clean and operate. However, if preferred, we also offer heavy machined plate construction.

PYRADIA offers a complete line of gravure coaters corresponding to your product characteristics. All our gravure coaters are designed according to the highest quality standards for long life and easy maintenance. The open frame design of our equipment makes PYRADIA’s web coaters the easiest to thread, clean and operate. We offer the choice of fabricated open frame design or heavy machined plate construction to better suit customer’s preference or process needs.

Pyradia has been manufacturing high technology convection ovens and dryers since 1973.  Recently we have invested our engineering time in developing a compact, modular and versatile pilot web dryer.  It has multiple airflow configurations: air floatation, through-air with belt, through-air impingement on top & bottom airfoil and impingement with IR between nozzles.

Pyradia designs and manufactures infrared thermoforming equipment.  Thermoforming is a process in which materials are heated and then pressed or vacuum-formed into the desired shape.  Infrared thermoforming is used for rigid and nonporous materials, such as polymers and rubbers. Air can not pass through these materials and therefore need to be surface heated. Infrared is ideal for surface heat-treating as it offers instant heat.

The BEL Series enclosureless dust collector is an industrial small capacity system generating up to 5000CFM, available in single or three phases electrical connection. This dust collector is designed to collect dust particles ranging from coarse to mixed sizes, generated by wood machines operating in intermittent or continuous fashions and producing moderate to heavy dust loads. The BEL Series is generally recommended for applications involving one or two machines in a small shop environment or in larger facilities where there is a need for an industrial “stand alone solution”.

The JNBM-OP model is an industrial small capacity dust collector system equipped with a 7.5 HP blower generating over 3500 CFM, available in single or three phases electrical connection. This collector is designed to collect dust particles ranging from coarse to mixed sizes, generated by wood machines operating in intermittent or continuous fashions and producing moderate to heavy dust loads.

The JLW model is an industrial small capacity dust collector system equipped with a 2 or 3 HP blower generating over 1000 CFM or 1400 CFM, available in single or three phases electrical connection.

Designed for intensive and continuous use, the Belfab MPJB modular pulse jet baghouse is of heavy-duty construction, requires low maintenance and offers reliable performance. This dust collector model is suitable for woodworking applications and can process both fine and coarse dust. The pulse jet cleaning system improves filtration efficiency and filter life.

The RG Series from Belfab is an enclosed modular dust collector equipped with a continuous pulse jet cleaning system with capacities ranging from 1500 to 5000 CFM. Its design meets the most stringent North-American safety regulations for an indoor installation by incorporating flameless venting and a fire extinguishing system as a standard. The unit’s fan is equipped with a variable speed drive which controls the airflow while maximizing energy efficiency. Our engineering team has also developed an HMI (Human Machine Interface) that monitors airflow performance and maintains optimal filter efficiency.
