Qatar Petroleum training

Most of the work of CTI is dedicated to developing trainees for technical and clerical positions within QP and its subsidiaries, however development of employees is also undertaken. A five-year plan is in place which is aimed at Qatarization. The objective is to attract 145 nationals per year to occupy middle technical and clerical jobs in QP & its subsidiaries.

QP was the first organization in Qatar which embraced training technologies and e-Learning as far back as 2004. QP provides its employees with the opportunity to learn a vast array of material at their own pace. Over 2000 of QP employees have benefited from in-house access to e-Learning courses over the last five years.
