It adopts the technologies of high-power asynchronous traction motor, horizontal main converter, water-cooled converter composed of IGBT elements, single-axle control, microcomputer network control system, microcomputer-controlled braking system, axle suspension bogie, independent ventilation and cooling, etc. The single-axle power of the locomotive is 1200kw, and the maximum operating speed is 120 km/h.
