FEDI® stacks are designed to produce high purity water up to 18 MΩ.cm using a patented process with double sets of electrodes per stack. The FEDI® stack is designed to replace mixed bed technology and produces pure water continuously, without the use of regeneration chemicals. Applications include the semiconductor, power, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries. FEDI-2 is available in two operating modes: Dual Voltage (DV) and Single Voltage (SV). The stacks contain media on the concentrate side, eliminating the need for a salt injection

FEDI stacks are designed to produce ultrapure water up to 18 MΩ.cm using a patented process with double sets of electrodes per stack. FEDI replaces mixed bed technology and produces pure water continuously without the use of regeneration chemicals. The stacks are designed for operation after double pass reverse osmosis. The stack has ability to produce ultrapure water with high flow rate using a patented “Split Flow EDI” technology. Applications include the semiconductor, power, food & beverage and pharmaceutical industry.

The FEDI-GIGA stack is a next-generation electrodeionization stack that is designed to produce ultrapure water with a high flow capacity. It can minimize associated piping and instruments due to its unique design feature – one inlet and two outlet ports. It is the first electro-deionization stack with three ports Feed, Product & Reject.

FEDI Rx stacks are a pharmaceutical grade water system featuring hot water sanitization ability at 85°C. These stacks have the ability to produce high purity water quality up to 18 M?cm using a patented process with double sets of electrodes per stack. FEDI Rx stacks are available in four sizes (5X, 10X, 20X & 30X). These stacks have widespread application in Pharmaceutical, Biomedical & Laboratories where hot water sanitization is required.

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane process used to remove suspended solids, colloidal matter, high molecular-weight substances, and bacteria and viruses from various feed water sources. UF membranes can achieve a low and consistent silt density index (SDI) and are often used as pretreatment for reverse osmosis using surface water, seawater and biologically treated wastewater as feed source. QUA Q-SEP® UF membranes incorporate high-strength, hollow fibers that deliver superior performance without the risk of fiber breaks. Q-SEP® UF membranes are available in inside-out and outside-in flow configuration. Both types of membranes have excellent low fouling characteristics. These hollow fiber membranes operate under a pressurized flow configuration for superior performance.

Due to the rigid material of construction, CeraQ ceramic ultrafiltration membranes offer high quality filtration in virtually any environment. The ceramic membrane has various applications, mostly in treating very difficult to treat water and wastewater, or where high temperature operation is involved. The ceramic membrane is a very viable technology for produced water treatment. CeraQ modules consist of 3.5 mm ID ceramic tubular elements potted into bundles for various surface area requirements. The alumina based ceramic membranes have proprietary coating which ensures long service life and a high degree of permeance recovery. Other features of CeraQ modules include their durability and material stability cleaning the membrane with aggressive solvents if required.

QUA’s EnviQ flat sheet submerged ultrafiltration membranes have been specially developed to improve the ease of operation and maintenance of MBR facilities. EnviQ’s innovative design offers ultrafiltration quality product water with a stronger and more rugged PVDF flat sheet membrane. The unique features in EnviQ consist of reverse diffusion and specially designed air diffusers, which maximize scrubbing efficiency, lowers pressure and reduces cleaning.
