The standard micropipette or pipette has a couple main components:

The ExtraGene Mini Centrifuge is a wonderful unit for personal use in the lab and is ideal for quick spin downs and micro filtration.  The Mini Centrifuge has an on/off switch on the side of the unit as well as a start / stop switch attached to the lid.  The unit is supplied with two rotors, one for 8 x 1.5 and 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes and one for 32 x 0.2 mL PCR tubes or 4 x PCR tube strips.  The centrifuge spins at 6,000 rpm and produces 2000 x g.  The ExtraGene mini centrifuge has a 2 year warranty.

Benchmark Mini Centrifuges accelerate to speeds of 6,600 rpm or 2,200 rcf. Another unique function is that the device easily stops in seconds. Advanced motor mounting systems provides a quiet and vibration-free operation.

The tubes have printed white graduations marks and a large writing area.
