The Dissecting Microscope is used for demonstration, close study of small organisms and fine dissection work. The high-eyepoint lenses 10x & 20x have alternative use on a jointed arm allowing the whole stage area to be scanned. The stage 85mm X 75mm provided with spring stage clips, has a Glass Plate with arrangement for inserting white/black metal plate for respective background. Substage plano-concave mirror reflects sufficient daylight & artificial light on the object. The Rack & Pinion mechanism is enclosed within the stage support pillar and operated by a knob on either side. Detachable hand rests on both sides of the stage provide for a steadying support during dissection.

Heavy round base with a precisely designed body, providing convenience for easy lifting and movement. Sensitive focussing is done by rack-pinion moving on a lapped dovetailed guideway with a stopper to limit the downward movement. A joint Revolving Arm is provided for moving magnifying lens over full area of the stage; it is easily replaceble by a special BULL EYE LENS 83mm. dia. to increase the field of vision. A plano-concave mirror fitted in fork for light reflection, sturdy removable handrests and arrangement for inserting white or black plate for respective background, help easy working on the instrument.

Stand - Heavy base stand made of die cast metal for the body stability. Body - Stable and robust, assembled from aluminium metal parts, Monocular tube inclinable upto 90° mechanical tube length 130 mm. Overall height of the microscope is 285 mm.
