The RD8100 RF marker and buried utility locator range is designed for locate professionals who need to detect RF markers and buried utilities. The RD8100 RF marker locator is our most advanced model and is optimised for more complex situations.

The C.A.T4 digital platform delivers highly refined locate capabilities, specifically designed to help the operator find more buried utilities. The C.A.T4 Avoidance Mode™ lets the operator check an intended excavation area for Power, Radio and Genny signals, and pinpoint located utilities in a single scan. Features such as the bargraph ‘tidemark’ enable an operator to quickly spot a peak response and zero-in on a buried conductor.    

The SuperCAT4+ range of locators and transmitters uses a selection of passive, sonde and active frequencies designed to target specific buried assets. Using Radiodetection’s familiar C.A.T controls and display, minimal retraining is required to access these advanced capabilities. For oil and gas pipes using a Cathodic Protection System, the CPS model can locate the rectified signal without needing an additional transmitter.
