Plastic Random Packing
Raschig Jaeger Tri-Packs - Spherical Plastic Random Packing
Made in the USA, this spherical random packing is the ideal shape for packed beds. All sizes of this product in polypropylene are NSF 61 listed for potable water contact. As such, only virgin resin direct from a primary supplier is used, ensuring the rigid requirements of NSF are met.
Raschig - Super Ring Plastic
The famous forth generation random packing, available in select sizes in plastic. High-performance, free-flowing random packing for scrubber and stripper applications. Raschig Super Rings are the 4th generation in random packing design, and offer significantly lower pressure drop and equal or superior mass transfer properties vs. traditionally designed random dump plastic tower packings. In polypropylene. Other plastic resins such as PVDF, PVC, CPVC, glass filled polyethylene, ETFE are also available.
Raschig - Low Profile Rings
High-performance random packing. As such, this packing supports high transfer rates, excellent gas and liquid dispersion characteristics, and good fouling resistance. General purpose, high-performance, free-flowing random packing for scrubber, stripper\ biological and other packed applications. Low Profile Rings (LPRs) are an innovative, hi-performance random packing. Available in a full spectrum of thermoplastics such as polypropylene, polyethylene, PVDF, CPC, ETFE, glass filled polypropylene and others, they offer high mass transfer rates, excellent gas and liquid dispersion characteristics, and superior fouling resistance. Their rounded shape excels in handling and ease of installation, resists nesting and settling and makes removal easy.
Raschig Jaeger - Pall Rings
Pall Rings (Jaeger Rings, Ballast Rings, Basic Rings, etc.). Traditional plastic random packing for scrubber, stripper, and biological applications. Traditional plastic random packing for scrubber stripper and biological applications. Polypropylene - Other plastic resins available such as PVC, CPVC, PVDF, PFA and others. Please inquire regarding the specific needs of your project.
Metal Random and Structured Packing
Raschig Super Ring - Random Packings Metal
High-performance, free-flowing random spherical packing for scrubber and stripper applications. Raschig Super Rings are the 4tn generation in random packing design. It offers significantly lower pressure drop and equal or superior mass transfer properties vs. traditionally designed random dump metal tower packings. Product is available in 304 SS and 316 SS (both standard stock items) as well as more exotic alloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel and Nickel.

Raschig - Original Random Packing Rings
The original random packing invented by Dr. Raschig. There are more optimized packings available today, but it’s a classic.
Metal Random and Structured Packing - Structured Packings: Metal
Raschig Super-Pak - High-performance Metal Structured Packing
The Raschig Super-Pak® is a structured packing designed to allow free flow of vapor – liquid streams. Unlike previous structured packing design, there are no sharp directional flow changes within the Raschig Super-Pak® element. Rows of sinusoidal waves within the vertical packing sheets are surface-enhanced to encourage greater turbulent radial spread of thin liquid film flows on the front and back of the waves on each sheet within a packing element. The open structure of Raschig Super-Pak® achieves excellent hydraulic and mass transfer efficiency characteristics. Loading capacity is high, with improved separation, yet pressure drop remains low during normal operation.
Column Internals
Raschig - Mist Eliminators
Mist eliminators (Or Demisters) serve a purpose just as their name would imply – They capture mists that may form in a column. Mist eliminators function to reduce droplet entrainment exiting a column through the use of inertia. Undesirable droplet byproducts can be kept within a column with the use of a mesh eliminator. Pictured is a mesh pad type mist eliminator with support grids. Mesh pads can capture droplets down to 10 microns. Mist eliminators also exist in a chevron type, which has lower pressure drop than a mesh pad, but also is not as efficient at droplet capture. We would love to talk more with you about your particular application.
Wastewater Treatment Products - Trickling Filter Media and Products
Raschig Bio-Pac - Trickling Filter Media and Products
The preferred media for replacing rock media in existing trickling filters. They are used extensively in anaerobic and aerobic submerged attached growth reactors while offering low installation costs. It is also offered in larger sizes.
