The HAVWEAR watch has been developed to more easily and effectively assess and manage hand arm vibration (HAV) risks. The HAVWEAR watch is a wrist worn device to advise workers of vibration exposure risk. The HAVWEAR watch informs the wearer of their exposure by calculating and displaying in real-time their HSE HAV risk assessment exposure points. Sound and vibration alerts inform the wearer if their personalised exposure thresholds have been exceeded. It has ground breaking technology to simultaneously assess exposure risk using; pre-defined tool vibration magnitude and vibration magnitude sensed by the wearer at the wrist. Either of these methods can be used to display HAV risk exposure points and both types of data are stored online for analysis by employers.

If there is no need to monitor HAV exposure, Reactec can configure a lower cost offering for SAFE-DISTANCE only. SAFE-DISTANCE benefits from the Reactec eco-system of robust wearables and fully integrated communication infrastructure to automatically and robustly manage personal data. For SAFE-DISTANCE the powerful Reactec Analytics were enhanced to facilitate cohort working and report social distancing behaviour in-line with the NHS grading of risk profiles.
