The Speaker MMP attaches to the Throwbot® 2 robot (TB2) and is activated using the OCU3 Controller.  With the speaker attached, the operator is able to open up a two-way dialogue by using the push-to-talk feature as well as play pre-recorded messages created in advance by the operators’ team.

The Recon Scout SearchStick^™ pole enables tactical and patrol personnel to instantly convert any Throwbot 2 robot into a versatile pole camera. The SearchStick pole has a collapsed length of 20.5″ (52cm) and can be extended to a length of 72″ (183cm).

The Rugged XL Conversion Kit provides the RXL style wheels and tail necessary to convert a Throwbot^® 2 base robot into the Rugged XL configuration. All necessary tools for performing the change are included in the kit. The extra terrain configuration is designed to allow the system to climb over 4″ / 10 cm obstacles.

The Carry and Tow Conversion Kit provides the Picatinny rail, CT style wheels, and RXL tail to reconfigure the Throwbot^® 2 base robot into the Carry and Tow configuration. All necessary tools for performing the change are included in the Carry and Tow Conversion Kit.

The Deluxe Conversion kit provides the contents of both the Rugged XL Conversion Kit and Carry and Tow Conversion Kit in a single package.

The MOLLE Tactical Pack allows an operator to carry one Recon Scout^® or Throwbot^® robot and one Operator Control Unit II (OCU II) or OCU Classic. The pack utilizes standard MOLLE style webbing to enable mounting on a variety of vests or backpacks.  The pack features corded zippers that enable a tactical operator to quickly open the bag and deploy the system.  An internal clip can be used to automatically pull the activation plate from a Throwbot^® 2 robot as it is removed from the bag.  The OCU can be removed by activating a quick release clip or can remain attached to the pack while it is in use, enabling one operator to control the robot and see its video transmission while a second operator provides protective cover. The Pack is available in black, camo, or olive drab green.

The Throwbot 2 (TB2) robot is a throwable micro-robot platform that enables operators to obtain instantaneous video and audio reconnaissance within indoor or outdoor environments.  Designed to withstand repeated drops of up to 30 feet (9 m) onto concrete, the Throwbot 2 robot can be thrown into hazardous situations in order to allow operators to quickly make informed decisions when seconds count.  This micro-robot is designed to be able to crawl over a variety of terrain, clearing obstacles up to 2″ (5 cm) tall.  Conversion kits are available which can increase the ability of the Throwbot  2 robot to cross obstacles up to 4″ (10 cm) tall or to carry and tow a combined 4 lbs (1.8 kg) of payloads using integrated mount points or a Picatinny Rail accessory.

The Operator Control Unit II (OCU II) is matched to the Throwbot 2 robot at the time of manufacturing and can be specified in any one of the ReconRobotics frequency channels. When paired with the robot, it is capable of receiving both audio and video transmissions from the robot.
