Desalt-ED - Cross Flow Stack
The Desalt-ED cross flow stack is a special design EDR module (Electro Dialyses Reversal) for desalination of water. A single stack has a capacity of up to 36 m3/h waterflow (see models). Typical salt removal is 50 to 60%. The stack design prevents ionic shortcut currents, and has a low spacer thickness, which results in low energy consumption.
REdstack - Cross Flow Stack
In bipolar membranes H2O is splitted into caustic (OH-) and acid (H+), by electricity. This acid or caustic can be reused in production processes. The EDBM cross flow stack is typically used for: NH4+ removal from strippers liquids, convert into highly concentrated pure NH3 solution. CO2-removal from flue gas or direct air capture, convert into bottled pure CO2-gas. Lithium recovery from brines as Lithium Hydroxide.
REDstack - Three Compartment Stack
REDstack supplies EDBM stacks with 3 compartments, where 3 different flows can be supplied to the stack. This stack is equipped with a bipolar membrane and both a Cationic Exchange Membranes (CEM) and an Anionic Exchange Membranes (AEM). This makes it possible to produce acid and base from salt water or brines on site, which can be used for pH adjustments or cleaning on site.
