Collin’s Aerospace, a supplier of Ram Air Turbines (RATs) to large Aerospace companies was looking for a partner to automate their state-of-the-art wind tunnel Ram Air Turbine testing and certification process.  Important to saving over 5,000 lives, the Ram Air Turbine is a part that deploys from the wing or fuselage of an airplane if power is lost during the flight.  The 2-hour process for load, testing, and unloading of this part was time-consuming and cumbersome for Collin`s operators.

McNeilus, a division of OshKosh Defense wanted to streamline the production of their refuse collection loader vehicles. They were looking for a partner who understood the complexity of their business and had the knowledge and expertise to take a manual stall build assembly line to an automated process. In early 2022, RedViking and McNeilus launched the first automated production line that features industry 4.0 technologies, automated guided vehicles, connected tooling, and manufacturing execution systems.

A large automotive manufacturer chose RedViking to design, build and integrate Automated Guided Vehicles to deliver and receive parts on an assembly line in their Ohio based manufacturing plant. The manufacturer had specified goals for the AGVs and the assembly line and RedViking met all of their requirements and delivery needs.

A large automotive manufacturer approached RedViking to update its existing assembly process.  Their challenge was a noisy, older chain-based conveyance system that had limited operator access and poor operator conveyance. RedViking’s solution was a turnkey automotive assembly line built with flexible AGVs resulting in a clean, quiet, efficient assembly line with operator-friendly ergonomics and 360-degree access to the line.

RedViking was selected by an off-highway vehicle manufacturer that needed a new assembly line solution. They needed a solution with the flexibility to gradually scale a new line as production increased. The customer is cost-conscious and wanted to budget for features as they were needed. RedViking designed, built, installed, and supported an inductive power transfer (IPT) AGV assembly line that grew production by 200% in 2 years with no increase in staff or floor space.

A leading aerospace manufacturer needed a state of the art assembly solution to meet their rapidly increasing production demands. Forecasted sales for their new jet engine greatly exceeded their current production capability. To meet these future demands, they were challenged to increase their production capacity by over 400% within the next two years. RedViking designed, built, installed, and brought to production, the first of its kind automated aerospace jet engine assembly system, increasing production from 6 to 60 engine modules per month.
