A FIREPEX® residential fire sprinkler system is designed to prevent flashover (total involvement of the fire) in the room of fire origin, where sprinklered, and to improve the chance for occupants to escape or be evacuated.  FIREPEX fittings and RAUPEX® UV Shield pipe can be used to install these systems, sometimes in conjunction with plumbing systems.
