When renovating sewer systems, it is not just the hydraulic capacity that counts - KAREL helps you bundle your sewer system data and use your knowledge when making decisions in your refurbishment! Although KAREL also makes it possible to access hydraulically relevant network data such as conduit, manhole, line and catchment data as well as data from special manhole structures it essentially covers the topics of channel status, condition assessment, rehabilitation planning, costing, asset valuation and channel operation. If KAREL is used together with GraPS lots of synergies create an optimal solution: TV inspection and condition data is available in the site plan and longitudinal section, and theme maps depict the condition of the channels and the rehabilitation details.

HYKAS fulfills all requirements of a modern hydraulic calculation program and enables you to dimension and verify sewer networks. You can choose the network load and examine the effects of individual rain events and the long-term precipitation continuum. HYKAS ensures that you keep an overview, showing the filling and emptying processes in the sewage network, evaluating the behavior of the rain relief by means of extreme value analysis and providing you with meaningful calculation results - not only the discharge volumes but also the corresponding pollution loads.

HYKAS-2D is used for the analysis of flooding hazards according to the DWA-M 119 guideline in a simplified and detailed way. HYKAS-2D enables the coupled hydrodynamic calculation of sewer network (one-dimensional) and surface runoff (two-dimensional).

If you do not want to use the precipitation continuum directly then you you have the option to generate model rain groups or heavy rain series with our program REGEN. All common rain formats are processed by REGEN and can then be used for the hydraulic calculation of sewer networks with HYKAS or for N-A modeling with LUNA.

If you want to plan not only a technically perfect but also affordable infrastructure, MENKOS delivers you qantities and costs of manholes and conduits, excavation, backfilling and construction costs whenever you want it. MENKOS uses the sewer network data, which you can edit with our programs, GraPS, HYKAS, KAREL or WERT.

WERT helps you to execute a quantity and cost calculation as well as an asset valuation for sewer networks according to DWA-A 133. To do this you can use the data created with GraPS, HYKAS or KAREL. For the asset valuation you can access the cost of production or, if not known, have it automatically determined using the cost module. The depreciation is carried out either linearly or in the course specified by the production costs or the replacement time. In addition to the depreciation, the imputed interest is also shown.
