Alarms

Rel-Tek - Section Alarm

Developed for hazardous areas of coal mines for alerting workers of possible hazardous conditions (fires, explosive/toxic fumes, etc.), the SA-501 is small and portable, yet effective and safe. Ideal for mines or plant areas where space is confined. All solid state; MSHA classified intrinsically safe when powered through proper barriers. The SA-501B, has two separate outputs: 1) a visual "warning" and 2) a strident sonic "alarm", each independently controlled. Super bright LEDs flash (2-Hz) red for maximum attention. The horn "alarm" adds a raucous, pulsating blast several times a second. Designed for the maximum human hearing sensitive of 2900 Hz the 95 dBA @ 24" sound pressure provides a sonic signal audible at long distances, even in ambient noise.

Rel-Tek - Remote Alarm

The Remote Alarm provides a visual and audible indication of a plant problem.

Rel-Tek - Remote Alarms With Telemetry

Remote Alarm-1000/DX is a remote alarm with telemetry capabilities. These capabilities are achieved by placing one of our telemetry cards inside a larger alarm enclosure. Cards used are limited by the need for at least one digital output. These units are used when there is a need for addition analog inputs and digital outputs and were there is DC power available but no AC power is available.

Rel-Tek - Extremely Loud Remote Alarm

Remote Alarm-1000SM is an extremely loud alarm of 105dBA@ 10`. The enclosure and strobe are the same ones used on the RA-1000.

Rel-Tek - Dual Remote Alarm

The Remote Alarm-1000/Dual allows you the opportunity to alarm three different thresholds from one unit. With several different color strobes available you can customize your alarm. Audio alarm is 105dBA@ 2 ft.

Rel-Tek - Dual Separate Alarms

This unit is MSHA classified for methane, with three separate alarms; this allows three thresholds to be alarmed from one point. MSHA requires that each function be wired separately from each other.

Rel-Tek - Sentinel UPS Units

Sentinel*500™ UPS Units give up to 20 minutes of backup power to your computer system. This "smart" UPS will sense low battery power and shuts down the software and hardware in the proper manner. When power is restored the UPS will automatically bring up the hardware and software to the previous mode.

BlueBaby - Universal Outstation

Product 5.7210/5.7220/5.7230/5.7240 BlueBaby; BB1, BB2, BB3, BB4, BB5, BB6, BB7 & BB8. Universal BLUE outstations with US/MSHA credentials for monitoring classified sensors and devices in hazardous (CH4) areas. Directly compatible with most monitoring systems used in U.S. coal Mines. BBs contain barriers and regulator, capable of servicing classified CO, CH4, O2, temp, RH, pressure, airflow and vibration sensors, as well as classified relays and alarms - sited in methane areas.

Kal-Kit & KalGas - Convenient Portable Calibration Kit

The Kal-Kit is a convenient portable calibration kit containing everything needed to calibrate Rel-Tek (and most other) gas sensors. It contains two 20-liter tanks of cal gas, usually zero and a selected span gas. Tanks are nested in a shock resistant bed, rigidly captured by a brace and wing nut. Brass needle valves control the gas flow from either tank. A bead type flow meter indicates the flow in ml/min. Two pressure gages show the pressure in each supply tank.
