ASME Vessels and Tanks
Rexarc - Pressurized Deaerators
Boiler deaerator systems remove undissolved gases (carbon dioxide, oxygen, and air) that cause many component or system failures in in boiler feedwater systems. Undissolved oxygen is a major cause of corrosion in boiler deaerator system components. Carbon dioxide forms corrosive carbonic acid damaging to heat transfer equipment and piping. Non-condensable air reduces heat transfer efficiency of boiler aerators.
