Parallel Expanding Gate Valves
The expanding parallel gate valves are used in the oilfield industry for drilling and production operations for nominal pressures of 700 bar (10000 PSI). Working medium: water, oil products, gases with a light corrosive action. Designed in accordance with the API specification 6A requirements. The products are designed to perform according to the requirements of PR1 Performance Requirement Level and, on request, PSL1, PSL2 and PSL3 Product Specification Levels. Valve type: full-bore, body shape - round, forged, closing element - parallel gate, stem - rising, provided with trapezoidal thread, being in no contact with the circulation fluid. The compensating rod anihilates the volume variation inner cavity during gate valve handling. The valve is connected to the pipe by flanges provided with 6Bx type sealing metallic rings.
Slurry Gate Valves
Many standard valve are often found to be unsuitable for slurry applications. However, some standard valve can be utilised successfully in installations for non-abrasive slurry. Valves for abrasive slurry must be selected carefully and a detailed knowledge of the slurry properties is essential. Valve manufacturers adopt different design principles for their products and similar valves from different manufacturers can be significantly different. The diameter of the valve flow port may be considerably smaller than the nominal pipe size suggests. Valve selection can only be successful when accurate information is available.
