The AON algorithm serves as a sophisticated software tool enabling autonomous navigation on paved and unpaved roads, facilitating collision-free robotic movement without human oversight. Initially, a teleoperator uses the robot to map the surroundings, generating a local environmental map. Utilizing an integrated sensor system, the robot autonomously follows predefined paths, effectively managing challenging intersections and both static and dynamic obstacles. Commands are input via an application interface or voice commands. The algorithm can be adapted for various robotic platforms, necessitating specific sensor equipment like the RTV sensor Box and IMU, GPS, and odometry. For optimized navigation, using RoboTech Vision's platforms equipped with the RTV sensor Box is recommended. The system supports ROS communication through the cmd_vel topic, emphasizing compatibility with commercially available robotic platforms.
