ACRYLITE 8N is a thermoplastic molding compound made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) recognized for its high heat deflection temperature when subjected to load. This material exhibits an amorphous structure, which contributes to its excellent optical clarity, making it a preferred choice for various applications. Despite having a slightly lower flow rate compared to ACRYLITE® 7N, it is designed to meet demanding thermal and optical requirements in industries such as automotive and electronics. It is frequently used in the production of optical waveguides, luminaire covers, and automotive lighting components, as well as instrument cluster covers and optical lenses where thermal resistance and optical properties are critical. ACRYLITE® 8N plus offers enhanced ductility, specifically tailored for ease in the demolding process during injection molding applications, broadening its applicability to specialized mechanical and structural requirements in advanced manufacturing settings.

MERACRYLMMA is used as building blocks in a wide range of applications. It provides very good exterior durability and color stability. It has a glass Tg of 105 °C, and is used wherever hardness and thermo-mechanical stability is needed.
