Romet measurement devices utilize positive displacement rotary technology. Rotary technology relies on the rotation of two figure eight shaped impellers to perform the measurement operation. These impellers have shafts held in low friction bearings and positioned 90 degrees in relation to each other by precision timing gears. The impellers contra rotate in semi cylindrical housings enclosed by head plates at either end. Very close tolerances and timing gears insure that an effective capillary seal is achieved, at the same time insuring that the impellers and housing do not come in contact. As gas enters the inlet of the meter, a pressure differential is created from the inlet and outlet of the meter, causing the impellers to rotate. The volume displaced by each revolution of the impellers is transmitted to a final module readout to begin collecting and organizing the generated data.

The Adem® -PTZ is an electronic counter module with the capability for live compensation for Pressure, Temperature and Supercompressibility (Z). The Adem-PTZ is a direct mount module for seamless integration with Romet and other popular rotary meters. Some features of the Adem-PTZ include a full audit trail, four available output pulses, serial communication and a 15 year nominal battery life. This state-of-the-art corrector is also available in a remote mount configuration (Adem-PTZ-r).

The Adem®-Tq combines our time tested product design of, one size fits all, temperature compensating, auditable features, with the additional ability to monitor the health of the meter over its lifecycle.  This improves operational cost savings by removing the need for manual meter verifications, providing a complete history of how the meter performs over time. The Adem-Tq`s patent pending technology provides the opportunity to enhance meter maintenance programs through the power of on-condition monitoring.

The Adem®-T is an electronic counter module with the capability for live Temperature compensation. The  Adem-T is best suited for applications where live temperature compensation is required. For applications where pressure can be predetermined and compensation is required, a fixed pressure factor can be applied. The Adem-T is a direct mount module for seamless integration with Romet and other popular rotary meters. Some features of the Adem-T include a full audit trail, four available output pulses, serial communication and a 20 year nominal battery life.
