Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) is similar to Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) as it is made from high quality coal, wood or coconut shell raw material.

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) is made from high quality raw material, such as coal, wood, and coconut shell. The adsorptive capacity of granular activated carbon makes it ideal for removing a variety of contaminants from water, air, liquids, and gases to improve taste, odor, and color.

Our Pellet Carbon is produced from coal, wood, and coconut shell by high temperature steam activation and manufactured with suitable binders under stringent quality control. The Pellet Carbon has a low ash content, large surface area, high mechanical strength, extended pore volume, and chemical stability. These characteristics make it ideal for many vapor phase applications.

For special applications and targeted treatment goals for specific compounds, impregnated activated carbon may be the alternative to non impregnated, standard coal or coconut shell based carbon types. They are suitable for both air and water purification applications with unique customer demands.

Coconut Shell Activated Carbon is natural and environment friendly. But more importantly, their predominant micropore structure results in higher mechanical strength and hardness properties of the carbon. They are more abrasion resistant than any other type of activated carbons.
