The Galaxy 230 colony counter is used to manually count colonies of bacteria or other microorganisms. The Galaxy 230 can be used with a variety of Petri dish diameters and offers a pressure sensor design that allow the use of any marking pen.  An RS232 serial port allows connection with a PC and the use of the optional Galaxy PC software to document counting activity.
