Rovtech VALOR - Versatile and Lightweight Observation ROV
The VALOR (Versatile and Lightweight Observation ROV) is one of the most powerful Observation ROVs available in its class. The standard system has been built to be 300m rated, due to the unique design and with simple modifications, the depth rating can be extended up to 1000m. The versatility of VALOR is limitless given the significant payload, unrivalled power capability and available bandwidth allowing the ROV to manage complex tooling and sensor packages.
Rovtech - Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs)
The N17 ROVs by Rovtech are designed to operate in extreme environments, with high radiation tolerances and corrosion resistance. In 1988 Rovtech provided the first ROV to be used in a nuclear facility, leading to further ROV usage in nuclear ponds at Sellafield and the development of Rovtech’s Seaker ROV, ultimately responsible for the consolidation of over 60 tonnes of spent nuclear fuel.
Technology - Cameras
Rovtech - Seacam Zoom
A versatile underwater camera with remote zoom and optional lighting, ideal for exploration, pipe inspections, and deep-water operations. The Seacam Zoom offers remote zoom control, and optional integrated LED lighting for improved visibility in various underwater settings. Its quality optics and compatibility with our Pan & Tilt units make it a powerful tool for underwater exploration, pipe inspections, and deep-water operations.
Rovtech - Seacam Versa
A modular and adaptable camera platform for diverse subsea and nuclear inspection requirements. The Seacam Versa is our most adaptable camera platform, engineered for versatility across subsea and nuclear applications. Its modular design supports a range of lens options, lighting configurations, and mounting solutions.
Rovtech - Seacam Micro
The Seacam Micro is precision-engineered for ultra-compact environments where space is at a premium. Despite its small size, it delivers impressive image quality, even in low-light or murky conditions, and is ideal for pipework inspections.
Remotely Operated Vehicle
Compact - Adaptable Seaker Remotely Operated Vehicle
The stalwart ROV of the decommissioning program in FGMSP (Sellafield). Working continuously for six years in a harsh environment, this multi-function vehicle has extra power cores available allowing tooling skids (from manipulators to jetpumps) to be easily attached, enhancing the range of possible tasks available to operators. The Remotely Operated Vehicle is a Nuclear RSL Seaker based on a proven existing design which has operated in the challenging Sellafield environment. It is an open frame structure manufactured in Stainless Steel 316L.
RSL - Jetpump Suction Dredger
The RSL Jetpump Suction Dredger has been specifically designed to be utilised within the Inspection and Light Work Remotely Operated Vehicle systems. The RSL Jetpump can be permanently mounted to a vehicle or can be skid mounted to be incorporated within the size constraints of the Adaptable Seaker System that is deployed within Sellafield FGMSP. The Remotely Operated Vehicle is a Nuclear RSL Seaker based on a proven existing design which has operated in the challenging Sellafield environment. It is an open frame structure manufactured in Stainless Steel 316L.
Underwater Cameras
RSL - Lightweight Telescopic Pole Camera
The Rovtech Solutions Lightweight Telescopic Pole Camera has been designed and developed to offer a portable Underwater and In-Air Inspection Camera. Extending up to 22m (depending on spec), the pole is user friendly, with no tools required for adjustment of length.
RSL - Mini LED Camera
The RSL Mini LED Camera is an underwater video camera boasting most of the features of the Micro Seacam in a slightly larger size but with the added function of being its own source of light. A ring of high brightness white LEDs surrounding the camera view, lights the area in front of the camera.
RSL - Bullet Camera
The RSL Bullet Camera has been designed for work in harsh environments, such as narrow bore pipeline inspections and general underwater and in-air viewing. The stainless steel housing can be easily decontaminated and, if required, both the focus and lens can be changed to give optimum viewing.
