Smart Shackles - Instrumented Load Shackles
Rugged Controls has partnered with Skookum Gold Standard Forgings to provide the highest quality, made in USA load shackles. Designed for marine, heavy lifting and extreme applications, the Smart Shackle range of load shackles feature an innovative 17-4 stainless steel pin, manufactured complete with anti-rotation plate and an optional loading centering bobbin. Customers who require instrumented shackles for line tension, heavy lifting, construction and other monitoring applications can select from our list of stock and quick ship sensors. We stock 5/8” to 3” (3.5T to 117T capacity) Smart Shackles in cabled and wireless versions.
Load Cells
Rugged Controls works with its customers to design and manufacture a wide range of load cells for all industrial and oil & gas applications using the latest design and manufacturing technologies. We also supply instrumentation to provide complete load measurement systems. There are several different types of load cells available to meet the demands of the numerous applications they are used for, including hazardous area and harsh environments. All our load cells are extremely robust, with a design life of 20+ years.
