Direct- Push Services
Environmental field investigation techniques have advanced greatly in the last few years, and at the forefront of these techniques is the Direct-Push unit. S2C2 only uses genuine GeoprobeĀ® direct-push units and tooling for our investigations. A Direct-Push Unit, with an experienced operator, is capable of significantly reducing sampling time, which cuts clients costs proportionally. The following are a list of applications capable of being accomplished with today"s direct-push units: Soil, soil gas and groundwater sampling, Dual-tube soil sampling, Pre-Packed well installation, Traditional well installation using augers, Direct-Sensing: MIP,HPT,FFD,EC.
Direct-Sensing Service
S2C2 is an environmental services firm that focuses on providing High Resolution Site Characterization. S2C2 is a unique environmental services company, as we have evolved from and continue to provide mobile laboratory services in addition to Direct-Sensing and Direct-Push services. S2C2 has extensive experience using a variety of direct-sensing technologies, including: Electrical Conductivity (EC), Membrane Interface Probe (MIP), Heated Trunkline MIP (HTL MIP), Hydraulic Profiling Tool (HPT), Hydraulic Profiling Tool with Membrane Interface Probe (HPT/MIP), and a Fuel Fluorescent Detector (FFD) to determine soil lithology and the extent of subsurface environmental quality impacts (including source area delineation). S2C2 has gone through extensive MIP training at Geoprobeās Salina, KS facility as well as training at Vertek"s facility in Vermont for the FFD.
Data Management and Data Visualization Service
S2C2 has been a leader in developing on-site characterization methodologies and dynamic work strategies central to streamlined site characterization programs. An integral part of this approach is the ability to manage and visualize large data sets. S2C2 has all the tools and experience to provide complete data management and data visualization services for any size project.
Mobile Laboratory Service
The ability to analyze samples in the field is perhaps the essence of the TRIAD/ESC process. Being able to obtain accurate, and defensible analytical data for a wide variety of analytes in a timely fashion is a critical element of the on-site decision making process. Along with experienced industry chemists, S2C2employs laboratory instrumentation identical to that which is found in large scale commercial laboratories in a mobile setting.
