This heating system is ideal when space is at a premium. The Heater Module positioned near the magnet bore supplies a mixture of hot and cold fluid at constant flow through small tubes (1/8" OD) to warm the animal heating pad. Temperature control is based on the animal`s measured temperature and user-defined set point. The Circulator Module is located outside the magnet room. It provides cold water to the Heater Module.

MR-compatible Small Rodent Air Heater System The MR- compatible, small rodent Heater System controls the temperature of small animals undergoing imaging procedures. Animal temperature is measured with either an MR-compatible thermister probe or a fiber optic temperature probe.

A new version of the 1025T is now available. It is the Model 1025T-FOT where the temperature measurement is made using a robust fiber optic sensor rather than a thermistor temperature sensor. This new model offers several advantages including eliminating the possibility of wire artifacts in CT images. The 1025T with the thermistor temperature sensor is still available because thermistor temperature sensors are less expensive than fiber optic temperature sensors. The 1025T is configured at the factory for either fiber optic temperature or thermistor temperature.
