Geomembranes
SAI - High-Density Polyethylene Geomembrane
An HDPE geomembrane is a type of synthetic liner made from high-density polyethylene plastic, designed to act as a barrier to prevent the movement of liquids or gases. It's commonly used in various environmental engineering applications for its excellent impermeability and durability. While HDPE geomembrane is not as flexible as LLDPE, it offers greater tensile strength and can endure higher temperatures.
Geotextiles
SAI - Woven Geotextiles
They are manufactured from monofilaments or multifilaments. The fibers are oriented in two directions, the warp threads, which run parallel to the length of the geotextile panel (machine direction), interlace with weft threads, which run perpendicular to the length of the panel. This allows for a material with high strengths and moduli in both warp and weft directions, and low elongations.
