The Pipe Conveyor is an enclosed curve going transportation system for all kinds of bulk materials. At the loading and discharging points, the conveyor system is identical with open troughed conveyors. The difference starts after the loading point, where the belt is formed into its typical tubular shape by special idler arrangements over a certain distance and finally is led through idler panels with hexagonal cut outs and offset idler arrangement. At the discharging point, the belt opens automatically after the final idler panel and transfers the material to its next destination.

Downhill Conveyors are used to transport material from crusher stockpile. Downhill Conveyors are the most efficient equipment in industrial mines and metallurgical plants. But Conveyors, like other heavy equipment, pose several hazards to employees and also safeties of the equipment in particular to the downhill conveyor, where the operation is mostly unmanned due to its distance, terrain and profile.Generally, downhill conveyors move material uphill or uphill followed by downhill and along the surface of the earth. The hallenge in designing the conveyors when different section combinations are loaded/empty causes natural instability. With increase in tonnages and high negative lift conveyors with several hundred meters of drop, it is imperative to develop an intelligent soft braking system to address the starting and stopping requirements under various load conditions.

The belt conveyors consist of parts like pulleys (drive, tail, snub), rollers (Troughing, impact, return), belt, and cleaners (external/internal), take up unit, etc. These can be advanced or simple in structure based on system requirement.

Chain Conveyors are an essential part of many bulk handling systems, where they are used to convey bulk materials such as powders, grains, flakes and pellets.

Screw conveyor is one type of continuous conveyor which is used in metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, food production & other maching industries. Compare to all conveying equipment, screw conveyor has these advantages: small size of section from whole set, move steady & reliably, handle safety, fix simply etc.

Saikrupa manufactures portable conveyors of belt as well as chainslat type. Portable belt conveyors can be made either with flat idlers or troughing idlers depending upon the load. The conveyor boom is usually fabricated from steel tubes in order to give a light but strong and sturdy structure. Portable slat conveyors use a chain running in a steel track and fitted with slats, usually of wood. Height adjustment facility is attained by using mechanical pull jack or hydraulic cylinders. The complete conveyor structure is mounted on two wheels with a swivelling castor wheel and tow bar arrangement at the back. An inclined portable conveyor, with a near horizontal profile at the discharge end, is commonly used for lorry loading and unloading applications. Standard widths are 300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm, 650 mm, 800 mm and 1000 mm.

They can be used to handle Stone, Ores, Gravel, Sand, Coal and such materials. They are recommended for handling materials containing large, heavy or sharp lumps, hot materials and for installations, where material falls from a distance causing impact. Standard apron widths are 160 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 315 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm, 630 mm, 800 mm, and 1000 mm. Various apron styles like Al, A2, B, C, D, E & F as per 1S:7423 are offered.

Engineering skills sharpened over two decades of experience in design manufacturing and installation of conveyor systems have been incorporated in design, engineering and manufacturing of idler rollers. Idlers greatly influence belt tensions, power requirements, belt life, capacity and operational success of a conveyor, rugged and totally reliable. Saikrupa idlers are offered in various configurations to suit different duty conditions.

Pulley Assemblies: Saikrupa pulleys are of heavy duty construction. suitable for continuous operation. Pulley assembly dimensions and tolerances are based on IS: 8531. Pulley shells are either made from standard heavy tubes or fabricated from steel plates. Depending upon the face width two or three diaphragms are provided. Pulley shafts are of carbon steel and fully machined to precise tolerances. Assembly of pulley and shaft is usually accomplished through a bore and key way. However, taper lock bushings are also offered.
