Our warehouse is equipped to hold several tons of goods which are accurately monitored and recorded according to customer`s requirements. An alarm system is in place, connected to an armed surveillance service. All the goods stored in the warehouse are fully insured.

Our cutting stations, specifically designed for this type of operation and equipped with the best machines currently available on the market, give a high performance in terms of the number of pieces processed each day. During this phase, the ceramic monolith is separated from the metal can. The ceramic is transferred into big bags for subsequent milling.

The ceramic from the cutting process is sent through a crusher and a ball mill. This operation, which is controlled by a complex electronic system, serves to homogenize the ceramic for representative sampling. The system works under forced suction and dust -collection in order to avoid any losses of material, that is further separated from the ferrous residue from the previous cutting phase. The sampling system is regulated according to precise scientific calculations to guarantee the perfect correspondence between the sample extracted and the net overall weight initially poured in.

The laboratory is equipped with crushers, blenders, separators, weight scales and a drying oven (for moisture determination). Following this last phase, the sample is ready to be analysed. All the machines in the laboratory - that operate under continuous suction - are calibrated in order to achieve maximum sample accuracy. The number of samples produced can vary in accordance to the           individual  customer`s requirements. To calculate the percentages of precious metals contained and/or to check the analyses provided by the refinery, the samples are sent to external laboratories of certified professional standards.
