SBM Offshore’s after sales service is made up of a professional and responsive sales team supported by a qualified and experienced engineering team. Our engineers support clients in finding solutions to all their after sales questions and service requirements: Studies to repair, refurbish or upgrade a terminal or key components such as swivels; Supply of original equipment from qualified manufacturers;  Inspection services, including operations and maintenance training; Services agreements covering troubleshooting, storage of critical spare parts and engineering support.

Our ability to provide emergency interventions and rapid response solutions in case of unforeseen events has strengthened our position as a leader in offshore services.

SBM provides Inspection, Maintenance and Repair services through a dedicated team of specialists; Conducting inspections of all types of offshore floating systems, Maintaining and upgrading any existing Turret and its key systems, including the related engineering and studies, Specializing in the maintenance of Swivel Stacks, Having an unmatched record of successful seal change-outs for maximized production uptimes, Intervening on all types of swivel stacks and individual swivels, including product, utility, electrical, optical and hydraulic units, Providing technical support to client and ongoing SBM projects, Feeding IMR experience back into product development.

These one-off, fast track interventions are naturally complimented by comprehensive IRM (inspection, repair and maintenance) programmes which we have been providing industry wide for many years.

Our engineers have a long history of design innovation that has led to a number of “industry firsts” in floating production and mooring systems. Our in-house knowledge and experience with these products has allowed our engineers to develop advanced procedures and techniques for analysis and design, and the input from our extensive construction and production operations ensures constructability and operability of our products is fully considered in our designs.

It’s a great source of pride for us to take our engineer’s innovative designs and successfully manage the construction of ever more complex floating production facilities. SBM Offshore has managed the conversion and fabrication process for over 27 floating production facilities during the last thirty years. We have developed a key long-term partnership with Keppel Shipyards in Singapore and Dubai and achieved tremendous results with the consistent delivery of a number of projects both on schedule and on budget, with a keen focus on safety.
