Aquafilter satisfies the strictest industrial requirements for water quality and efficiency. The filter has been developed in order to perform as well as possible under low pressure. It is equipped with a new and patented “backflush” technology and has specially designed parts for effective filtering with an absolute minimum pressure loss.

UV Station is supplied as a compact turnkey unit with flanges ready for connection to the facility`s water supply system. The purification process starts with the water being filtered through Aquafilter, a self-flushing pressure filter that removes particles before the water is disinfected in the UV filter.

In order to maintain optimal water quality, we recommend implementing a side loop for protein skimming and ozone treatment. This means that approx. one third of the water fed through the bioreactor at any given time is diverted for protein skimming and ozone treatment. This process removes fine particles from the water flow. Ozone works by oxidizing organic material, causing it to transform into CO2 gas and by causing larger particles to flocculate into larger particles that will be removed as foam in the protein skimmer.

Semi-closed system. Salmon lice thrive best in the upper layers of the ocean, and this is why there is a cover on the upper water layer that stops the lice from entering the net-pen. In order to get enough fresh seawater, Vortex pumps fresh seawater up from the depths below the net-pen.

ScaleAQ offers repurposing of floating collars. In practice, repurposing means that the entire plastic ring is reused, along with both the handrail and the walkways. Abrasive parts such as steel components are renewed so that the pens can be certified for another 15 years of use and meet current standards and requirements (NYTEK23). All plastics are in good condition and only the small abrasive parts need to be renewed. Can be adapted to all modern pen configurations and accessories.

Our new 560 floating collar offers greater stability, higher capacity, and better user-friendliness than the 500 floating collars. It features several good solutions, including an improved load-bearing system that will help to deliver reduced service and maintenance costs.

AquaFilter Disk is an automatic self-cleaning filter, based on the Bernoulli principle. All surfaces in touch with filtration fluid are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or stainless steel. Standard for the AquaFilter is a stainless steel filter cylinder with a V-shaped profile for effective filtration and self-cleaning of the filter. The specially developed filter elements are designed for effective filtration with the lowest possible pressure loss. The filter have an effective self-cleaning process at pressures as low as 0.4 bar.

AquaFilter Triple Action (TAC) is designed for extremely demanding filtration tasks in application with low operational pressure. AquaFilter TAC combines backflushing, ejector flushing and the Bernoulli effect to self-clean the filter. The result is a gentle and efficient cleaning cycle. Due to the unique technology, cleaning cycles will not be affected even when there is no pressure on the secondary side. The flushing starts when the nozzle is in position directly above the filter cylinders, resulting in the best possible cleaning of the filter. The flushing stops when the cleaning nozzle moves between the filter cylinders. This increases the cleaning quality of the filter cylinders and reduces the amount of flushing water.

AquaFilter Single Bag, in high-density polyethylene (HDPE), is the best choice for industrial, commercial and OEM applications. The filter house is corrosion free and resistant to chemicals. The features of the AquaFilter Single Bag makes it a cost-effective solution in a wide range of applications. AquaFilter Single Bag is designed with a quick opening feature that allows bag changes without tools. The filter is equipped with a replaceable stainless steel (316L) bag support basket. The AquaFilter Single Bag can be customized to fit different demands. The filter can be mounted standalone or as part of a skid due to its special mount flange.
