Scanmatic - Model SM5059 - Hydrological / Meteorological Datalogger

SM5059 is a datalogger optimized for data acquisition and remote control for meteorology, hydrology and environmental monitoring. The datalogger handles measurement in real time as well as historical values. Messages and alarms are handled in real time, with the option for time stamping and a historical buffer. Commands are handled in real time. SM5059 use the same working principles and software modules as the previous generation of Scanmatic dataloggers: SM5041, SM5042, SM5045 and SM5049.

Scanmatic - Model SMIO - Expansion Modules for SM50xx

SMIO modules are used to increase the number of physical interfaces in IEDs from Scanmatic e.g. SM5049 or SM5059. SMIO-modules are available in different variants, with different physical interfaces, and they make it possible to tailor the system to the specific application.

Scanmatic - Model SM4441 - Humidity Absorption System

SM4441 is used in installations with gauge pressure sensors. It is important that water is not allowed to enter the pressure compensation capillary. This may damage the sensor. SM4441 consist of a desiccant breather, including silica gel to absorb the humidity, mounted on an aluminum bracket. A plastic tube is used to connect to the capillary of the pressure sensor. The dimension for the tubes may vary depending on the type of sensor that shall be used. The wires from the pressure sensor is connected to terminal blocks including overvoltage protection. The overvoltage protection must be connected to ground with the shortest possible cable as possible. SM4441 is typically delivered without encapsulation and is installed inside a cabinet together with the datalogger. The SM4441 can also be delivered in a dedicated box or cabinet of steel, aluminum or composite material.

Scanmatic - Model SM4418 - Bubbler Level Sensor

SM4418 is a water level measurement system based on the bubbler principle, and it replaces the existing SM4416. The system is connected to a compressed air source with a pressure regulator, based on a compressor or compressed air cylinder, and a measurement tube or orifice. The measurement tube is installed between the bubbler system and the point of measurement.

Scanmatic - Model H2 - Historical and Instantaneous Data Acquisition and Control System

Scanmatics latest tool for data collection, data storage and presentation of historical or present value measurements, called H2, consists of a number of modules, which can be combined into a complete data collection system as needed. The system includes a rich functionality, covering everything from remote configuration of data loggers, to data collection and presentation of data. Present values can be presented graphically and tailored to each user. Historical data is usually displayed graphically but can also be displayed in tabular form. The data collection system H2 consists of the following modules:

Scanmatic - Model SM4407 - Fiber Optical Submersible Measuring Buoy

Fiber optic measurement method for measuring water levels in ponds. The solution is based on pressure sensor, long-life battery and an RS232 / fiber conversion mounted in a buoy. The buoy communicates via fiber cable to land.

Scanmatic - Lifeboat Navigation Assistant System (LNA)

Navigation assistant for lifeboats Scanmatic Lifeboat Navigation Assistant (LNA) is an important aid for the lifeboat pilot during an evacuation. It provides navigation information the moment a free fall or conventional lifeboat hits the water. Traditionally, navigation systems in lifeboats does not provide trustworthy guidance away from the installation after an evacuation. The LNA brings user friendly visual information to the life boat pilot and helps him/her to choose a safe direction, also in conditions with limited visibility due to smoke, fog, darkness or rough weather.

Scanmatic - Vertical Line Array (VLA)

The Vertical Line Array (VLA), is a system for recording, visualization and storing of underwater acoustic signals. The VLA is capable of continuously recording four acoustic signals, covering all frequencies from 30Hz to 100kHz. The system is capable of sample rates up to 384 kS/s on all four channels simultaneously. Acoustic signals are sampled with a resolution of 16 bits and are stored as WAVE-files. Time and GPS-position is also stored in an accompanying .csv file.

Scanmatic - Sonar Transponder Module (STM)

Scanmatic’s Sonar Transponder Module (STM) receives and analyzes audio signals from sonars, and generates an echo or emits pre-stored audio signals. In “echo repeat”, STM adds a signature to the received sonar pulse and sends back this modified audio pulse. For a sonar operator, it looks like there is a real submarine on the sonar screen.

Sonras - Sound Registration and Analyzer System

The Sonar Registration and Analyzing System, SONRAS, is a complete system for receiving, recording/storing, listen, analyzing and displaying acoustic signals in the sea. The system consists of two main parts:
